Trash the Dress or as we are calling it, “Express the Dress” is a new concept here in Ireland and we are the first photographers in the Republic of Ireland to do this type of work as we think it has loads of potential. It really creates stunning images that stand out in the crowd of some of the others out there.

Our shoot was done on a rainy and overcast day on Irelands West Coast in and around Galway City. We started in Moycullen then Spidal and ended in Neactains Pub in city centre! Where else would you want to be after a long but fun day!
The style is so outside the “traditional” that it really works and every couple that has come to our studio is looking for something different these days and this is a great way to achieve that. It’s done a couple of weeks after the wedding so we can make a full day of it and have fun when the pressure is off.

The wonderful thing about it is that you don’t really HAVE to “Trash” the Dress, just get out there and have fun, do something different and off the wall and pretend you’re in a Fashion Magazine. Just have a bit of “Craic” as the say in Ireland and you’ll end up with some amazing artistic images that, when you get older, you will cherish as your young and adventurous days.
I am happy with the shots so far and we will be doing another shoot in about a week or so… to see more images I suggest people check out our website @ www.photoone.ie or stop by the studio in Eyre Square in Corbett Court, next to ABC Bookshop.

We are looking forward to including the “Express the Dress” Shoot to our wedding packages.
