Call it “Trash the Dress”, “Cherish the Dress” or “Rock the Frock” it all comes down to one thing & thats having some gorgeous images taken back in your wedding dress! Lets face it the dress is without a doubt the most expensive dress you will ever buy & only wear once so why not show it off another day at some great locations that you probably didn’t have the time for on your big day. Thanks to TTD eu, once again an ex-bride has unboxed the most expensive dress she has ever bought and gone to do a Trash The Dress shoot in the UK. This is Sarah, she contacted us after seeing some of my photographs on TTD eu, we arranged a very early start and went shooting. Thanks Sarah for being such a good sport, it was great fun and we are glad you like the results. My name is Richard and I’m an English photographer based in Mallorca. Originally I was a travel photographer shooting holiday destinations for the big travel and tourism companies around Europe. I ended up being sent to Mallorca so often that I decided to stay there! I am now established as the islands leading architectural/ real estate photographer and am making head way into the wedding market as well. Here is an TTD session shot for a Russian couple Roman & Alyona who were on holiday near Palma. Although they had already married in St Petersburg they bought their wedding clothes with them and we spent a fun day out around the city and beach of Palma de Mallorca. This was my first TTD session so we just went with the flow and both the B&G and myself enjoyed the day immensely. Hi TTD viewers,
We are a Husband and wife team that work mainly in Wedding Photography but from time to time get asked to do other types of events and Portraits. We are based in Surrey UK but cover most of the south of England and sometimes the odd wedding in Europe. We got interested in the Trash The Dress idea and are now marketing it as one of our services. I spent 2 weeks looking for some good locations to shoot and my wife dug her dusty old wedding dress out and off we went. Below are just some of the shots we took which my wife loves the most. Hope you like them too. So… dig your dress out, find yourself a TTD photographer and get to it.

Jo & Guy were married in Kent last year. Although I didn’t shoot their wedding Jo contacted me last year to photograph their post wedding shoot as she had seen some of my work on Trash the Dress website. Jo had horses & beach in mind & after some research found a stables in Northumberland (kimmerston stables) that hire horses to TV & Film. We decided on Bamburgh beach purely for its beauty. After a few hours sleep I headed up the coast to Bamburgh & arrived at 5am. The tide was fully out leaving pools on the rocks & wet sand. After a walk about on the beach to check exactly where I’d be shooting from I headed up to the farmhouse to pick up Jo & Guy. We got some great shots as the sun was rising. At that time of day the light is good. We finished the morning shoot at about 8.30am, Jo & Guy went back to the farmhouse & I decided to have a wander around Bamburgh until our evening shoot with the horses. Fueled by endless cups of coffee from Julie at “The Pantry” I was invigorated & found my second wind. 5pm & Dickie arrived with the horses. We headed onto the dunes for some shots with the castle in the background then onto the beach. The sun giving a nice warmth to the shots. People were starting to come up from the beach to head off home but the sight of a bride & groom on horseback gave them an excuse to stay a little longer. After the sun had set & the horses were gone we got a few more shots against the deep blue night sky. Here are just a few images from the shoot.

I’m a 33 year old professional photographer from Portugal. I run a company started by my grandfather 48 years ago passed along to my father and now me and i decided to push the limits of what i was seeing being done around me and present something different to my clients.
